Roberto Gargarella

Abogado y sociólogo por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA 1983-5); Doctor en Derecho (UBA, 1991). Master en Derecho (Universidad de Chicago, 1992); Doctor en Derecho (Universidad de Chicago, 1993). Estudios posdoctorales en el Balliol College, Oxford (1995). Investigador principal del CONICET. Recibió una beca John Simon Guggenheim (1999) y también una beca Harry Frank Guggenheim (2002). Publicó numerosos libros y artículos, entre ellos, «Razones para el socialismo», con F. Ovejero (Paidós, 2000); «Courst and Power in Latin America and Africa», con S. Gloppen et al (Palgrave, 2009); «The Legal Foundations of Inequality» (Cambridge U.P., 2010), «Latin American Constitutionalism» (Oxford U.P., 2013); «The Latin American Casebook.
